Geography

            Pantanal is one of the main ecosystems in Brazil and also the largest wetland in the world. It occupies two brazilians states, Mato Grosso Do Sul and Mato Grosso, the north of Paraguay and the east of Bolivia.

            Pantanal highlights more on its beautiful fauna. Showing about 650 bird species, 100 mammals, 260 fish and 50 reptiles. But when we went there we saw alligators, capivaras, fish (golden painted curimbatá, pacu), otters , monkey, deer, lobo-guará,  jabuti, snake.

            In pantanal the land is always plan. It’s very common to rain there, is the reason why there are many floated rivers. The main activities in pantanal are livestock and tourism. They also do a lot of fishing because there are a large quantity of rivers and fishes.The beauty of the pantanal attract a lot of people in Brazil and in the world bringing a lot of tourists there, creating many jobs. It has about 2000 km square of pantanal.
